Asian Stocks Gain on Fed Rate Cut Speculation

Asian stocks gained on speculation a U.S. factory index later today will strengthen the case for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates in the world’s largest economy. Japan’s Canon Inc. paced gains among exporters.
