Patni Computer to buy European firm for USD 45 mn
Patni Computers is learned to be in the final stage of negotiation for acqu= iring an European company for USD 40 =96 45 million (Rs 1.6 - 1.8 billion),= reports Business Standard.
The company has completed the evaluatio= n process, and the formal announcement of the deal will be done within two = month. With this acquisition, Patni will get a string presence in the Europ= ean market and will strengthen its presence in enterprise application marke= t.=20
The acquisition will strengthen Patni`s foothold in the European ma= rket, and increase its presence in the enterprise application market, inclu= ding enterprise resource planning.
This will be the third acquisiti= on by the India`s sixth largest IT firm, Patni Computers.=20
