RIL may have to slash KG gas price to around $4
Reliance Industries, which is scheduled to begin gas production from the Krishna-Godavari (KG) region from June 2008, may have to scale down the price to about $4 per unit if the proposed tweaking of the formula is approved by the empowered group of ministers (EGoM). RIL had determined a market price of $4.33 per unit (exclusive of freight and marketing charges) through a limited bidding process.
