DLF and Ansals into deals with PTC
The dream of round-the-clock-power from the grid would soon become a reality in some of the plush colonies being developed by country’s leading developers. Real estate biggies DLF and Ansals have entered into deals with Power Trading Corporation (PTC) for buying power for their housing projects. The corporation is also negotiating with Unitech for a similar arrangement.
“We have signed MoUs with DLF and Ansals for supply of power available with us for trading. Under the open access system, it would be possible for PTC to supply power directly to customers paying wheeling charges to central and state transmission utilities,” PTC chairman and managing director TN Thakur told.
