KLG Systel Ltd has announced that connectgaia.com a revolutionary solution developed by the Company, on September 13, 2007 was declared the winner for Innovative Energy Saving Product / Service by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). The award is a part of the National Award for Excellence in Energy Management 2007 which was held at CII - Sohrabji Godrej Business Center, Hyderabad. The award acknowledges connectgaia.com as a forerunner in energy management which empowers electricity consumers to intelligently manage their electricity consumption. The award was given by Sri Shabbir A Mohd, Hon Minister for Energy, Coal, Minorities welfare, Wakf & Urdu Academy, Govt of Andhra Pradesh.

It not only optimizes and saves power but also puts a tremendous economic advantage in the hands of individuals and businesses.
The National Energy Award was institutionalized in 2000 by CII - Sohrabji Godgrej Green Business Centre to recognize Companies which have done commendably in the area of energy conservation. To facilitate information on innovative energy saving products / services and motivate suppliers to develop innovative energy saving products / services, a new category titled “Innovative Energy Saving Product / Services” Award was created during the year 2006.

About the Award
The National Award for Excellence in Energy Management was institutionalized by CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre in 2000 to recognize companies which have done commendably in the area of energy conservation. Apart from the Innovative Energy Saving Product / Services award, the other awards include Excellent Energy Efficient Unit Award Most Useful Presentation Award Innovative Project award and Distinguished Personality Award.
