L&T receives order worth Rs 770 mn
L&T receives order worth Rs 770 mn Larsen & Toubro (L&T) received an order worth Rs 770 million for Methanol reformer package. The order is a part of “Trombay Methanol Revamp Project“ for Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF), Chembur. The project is valuable to RCF in order to enhance overall energy efficiency, reliability and life of the methanol plant along with augmentation of capacity from present 180 TPD to 220 TPD of methanol product. >The order includes the detailed engineering, procurement, supply, transportation, storage, fabrication, inspection, construction, installation, testing, mechanical completion and assistance for pre-commissioning, commissioning and performance guarantee test runs for the project. L&T fac ed tough competition from internationally reputed reformer suppliers eyeing this order. But its performance in the past helped the company grab this order, the company said.
The owner has retained Haldor Topsoe A/S of Denmark as the process licensor and Projects & Development India (PDIL) as the Project Consultant.
Shares of the company were last trading down Rs 0.50, or 0.02%, at Rs 2,591.50. The total volume of shares traded at BSE was 42,056. (11.02 a.m, Monday)
