RBI absorbs Rs 37.45 bn via reverse repos The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) absorbed Rs 37.45 billion via 1-day reverse repos on Sep. 17, 2007. At the auction conducted under liquidity adjustment facility, the central bank received 6 bids for 1-day reverse repos, which were all accepted. On the previous working day, i.e on September 14, it absorbed Rs 157.10 billion via 14 bids, for 1-day reverse repos. These reverse repos are traded at a fixed rate of 6%.
