Supreme Yarns declares 10% dividend The members of Supreme Yarns company recommended a dividend of 10%. >The members gave their approval to change the company`s name to “Supreme Tex Mart“. Supreme Yarns reported a steep drop of 64.83% in net profits for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company saw fall in profits to Rs 7.79 million from Rs 22.15 million in the corresponding quarter last year.Net sales for the quarter rose 0.98%, to Rs 247.70 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
The dividend was recommended by the members at its meeting held on Sep. 15, 2007.
Shares of the company closed up Rs 0.05 , or 0.13%, at Rs 37.35. The total volume of shares traded at BSE was 15,400. ( Friday )
