Result analysis: Alkyl Amines net up 3.16 times for Jun`07 qtr

Alkyl Amines Chemicals announced a phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, profit of the company went up 3.16 times to Rs 12.00 million from Rs 3.80 million in the same quarter, last year.

Net sales for the quarter rose 35.77% to Rs 369.70 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

Operating margins, during the quarter, improved to 11.55%, a rise of 225.87 basis points compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Net margins, on the other hand, rose to 3.15% during the quarter from 1.35%.

The company`s earnings per share on a trailing twelve month basis is Rs 10.20.

At the closing price of Rs 95.70 on Sep. 18, 2007 at the BSE, the company`s shares were valued at 9.38 times earnings on a trailing twelve month basis.
