City Union opens unit at Anantapur, AP City Union Bank opened its branch at Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh) on Sep. 13, 2007. > City Union Bank (CITUNIBA) commenced operations in the year 1904 in Kumbakonam, Tamilnadu. The bank was previously known as Kumbakonam Bank. In 1965, local banks, City Forward Bank and the Union Bank were amalgamated with it and consequently, the name was changed to Kumbakonam City Union Bank. Shares of the company closed up Rs 4.45, or 2%, at Rs 227.45. The total volume of shares traded was 2,053 at the BSE.(Tuesday)
