India Glycols declares 30% dividend

>The members of India Glycols (Q, N,C,F)* at the 23rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the company held on Aug. 25, 2007 have approved the declaration of dividend at 30%, or Rs 3.00 a share of the value of Rs 10 each.

India Glycols disclosed a phenomenal jump in net profits for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company`s profit rose 2.97 times to Rs 356.30 million from Rs 120.10 million in the corresponding quart er, last year.

Net sales for the quarter rose 6.33% to Rs 2,712.10 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

Shares of the company gained Rs 7.10, or 3.12% ,to trade at Rs 235.00. The total volume of shares traded was 55,668 at the BSE. (1.49 p.m, Tuesday)
