KLG Systel bags orders worth Rs 325 mn

Gurgaon-based software development company KLG Systel received two new orders from the government of Haryana and Rajasthan worth Rs 325 million.   

>The order from the Haryana government, worth Rs 250 million, is for the implementation of a high voltage distribution system for the Gurgaon district.

The order from the Rajasthan government, worth Rs 75 million, is for modification and renovation of its consumer electricity network, which once implemented will reduce technical and distribution losses for the state`s power distribution companies.

Both the projects are expected to be completed by March 2008.

Kumud Goel, MD, KLG Systel, said, “These projects recognize KLG Systel`s expertise in providing effective solutions in the utilities sector. We look forward to working with the Governments of Haryana and Rajasthan in helping drive continuous reductions in power loss while also helping in improving revenues for the states` power distribution companies.“

Earlier, this month KLG Systel had received orders worth Rs 670 million.

Shares of the company gained Rs 10.4, or 2.05%, to trade at Rs 516.95. The total volume of shares traded was 43,313 at the BSE. (11.21 a.m, Tuesday)
