Market slips into negative
Market slips into negative The 30-share BSE Sensex slipped into the negative terrain on back of selling pressure in heavyweights. Select stocks from realty, IT, pharma, lost ground, while banking and auto traded mixed. The BSE Sensex is trading at 15,489.70, down 14.73 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 4,489.95, down 4.7 points (12.28 p.m).
The BSE Midcap rose 0.60%, while BSE Smallcap rose 1.17%.

Out of the total 2,673 shares traded at the BSE, 1,569 advanced, 1,025 declined while 79 remained unchanged.
Amongst the sectoral indices, BSE Auto rose 0.05%, BSE Bankex rose 0.42%, while BSE Realty declined 0.37%, and BSE IT declined 0.29%.
Gainers amongst the Sensex include ICICI Bank, which gained 1.67% to touch Rs 909.65, followed by Reliance Energy which rose 1.34% at Rs 920.00 and Bharti Airtel rose 0.82% at Rs 820.90.
Satyam, M&M, BHEL, HUL, ONGC and L&T also moved up.
Losers at the BSE Sensex were Cipla, which declined 1.98% at Rs 168.55, HDFC Bank dipped 1.62% at Rs 1,206.25 and HDFC declined 0.81% at Rs 2,165.00.
ITC, Infosys, Wipro, Bajaj Auto and Dr Reddy`s also slipped.
