Market trades flat
Market trades flat The 30-share BSE Sensex having traded on a firm note in the previous trading hour, has shed some of its gains and is currently trading on a flat note. Select stocks from auto, banking and cement led the advances while realty and IT led the declines. The BSE Sensex is trading at 15,518.22, up 13.79 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 4,499.70, up 5.05 points (11.08 a.m). The BSE Midcap rose 0.49%, while BSE Smallcap rose 1.04%.

Amongst the sectoral indices, BSE Auto rose 0.21%, BSE Bankex rose 0.41%, while BSE Realty declined 0.60%, and BSE IT declined 0.16%.
Key gainers amongst the Sensex include ICICI Bank which gained 1.49% to touch Rs 908.10, followed by Reliance Energy which rose 1.17% at Rs 918.45 and BHEL rose 1.14% at Rs 1,919.10.
Bharti Airtel, ONGC, L&T, HUL, Tata Motors and Ambuja Cement also moved up.
Losers at the BSE Sensex were HDFC Bank which declined 1.38% at Rs 1,209.20, HDFC dipped 1.04% at Rs 2,160.00 and Cipla declined 0.64% at Rs 170.85.
Wipro, Bajaj Auto, ITC and Infosys also slipped.
