Market-wide Put Call ratio declines 2.60%

The market ended on a weak note on Monday. The overall market breadth was mixed, around 49.2% of shares advanced on BSE and 46.6% of shares advanced on NSE. Out of the total 2,812 shares traded at the BSE, 1,384 advanced, 1,360 declined, while 68 remained unchanged.
Volumes on BSE and NSE both fell on Monday. The BSE clocked a turnover of Rs 46.8 billion and the total turnover on NSE amounted to Rs 93.9 billion. The BSE Sensex fell 0.64%, or 99.37 points, to close at 15,504.43. While the broad-based NSE Nifty fell 23.35 points, or 0.52%, to settle at 4,494.65.

On the derivative side at NSE, the market wide put call ratio declined on Monday by 2.60%, to 1.05, as against 1.08 on Friday.

Nifty open interest put call ratio was 1.50. Futures open interest advanced 1.47%.

Nifty puts added 858 thousand numbers in open interest. Nifty calls added 800 thou sand numbers in open interest.

Hindustan Unilever, Glaxo and HDFC topped the Nifty most delivered chart, while SBI,Tata Steel, and ACC topped the Nifty least delivered chart.
