PSL bags USD 17 mn contract >PSL bagged USD 17 million contract for supplying 124,000 meters of 3 LPE coated line pipes from Fusion Provida. The pipes will be supplied to Cameg SPA, Algeria. PSL (PSLHOLDI) is engaged in various types of pipe coating and pipe manufacturing activities. These coated pipes are used for transportation of gas, oil, water and petroleum. In the steel pipe industry, the company focuses on both oil & gas and the water pipeline industry.
In June 2007, the company received approval from the central government to establish a special economic zone (SEZ) for alternative energy and energy ancillaries at the port of Pipavav, Gujarat.
Shares of the company declined Rs 1.7, or 0.48%, to trade a t Rs 350. The total volume of shares traded was 3,916 at the BSE.(2.21 pm ,Tuesday)
