Alka India to consider delisting from Jaipur & Saurashtra Stock Exchange A meeting of the board of directors (BoD) of Alka India (Q, N,C,F)* will be held on Sep. 30, 2007 to consider voluntary delisting of shares of the company from Jaipur Stock Exchange and Saurashtra Kutch Stock Exchange. > Alka India, reported steady growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the profit rose 17.65% to Rs 0 .40 million from Rs 0.34 million, in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 49.61% to Rs 223.25 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 0.02, or 2.22%, at Rs 0.92. The total volume of shares traded were 90,421 at the BSE. (1.42 pm, Wednesday)
