JPMorgan launches India Liquid Fund

JPMorgan AMC launched JPMorgan India Liquid Fund, a debt fund. The scheme opens for subscription on Sep. 18, 2007 and closes on Sep. 20, 2007. It will open for sales and repurchase from Sep. 24, 2007 onwards.

Objective
The investment objective of the JPMorgan India Liquid Fund is to provide reasonable returns, commensurate with low risk, while providing a high level of liquidity, through a portfolio of money market and debt securities.

The minimum application amount is Rs 5,000 per application and in multiples of Rs 100 thereafter.

Asset Allocation
Money market instruments : The fund will invest 100% in money market instruments, upto 30% in securitised debt of 182 days maturity, less than 10% in debt instruments of more than 182 days maturity.There is no entry or exit load for the fund and the performance will be benchmarked against the Crisil Liquid Fund Index.
