Nouveau Multimedia board to consider rights issue >A meeting of the board of directors of Nouveau Multimedia will be held on Sep. 29, 2007 to consider issue of shares on rights basis.
Nouveau Multimedia reported a phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended in March 2007. During the quarter, the company`s profit rose 379.00 times to Rs 7.58 million from Rs 0.02 million in the same quarter last year.
Sales for the quarter rose 11.84 to Rs 58.59 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.55, or 2.27%, to settle at Rs 69.85. The total volume of shares traded was 193,732 at the BSE.(Wednesday)
