ONGC declares 130% final dividend The members of ONGC (Q, N,C,F)* at the annual general meeting (AGM) held on Sep. 19, 2007 declared final dividend of 130% and interim dividend of 180%. Net sales for the quarter declined 6.27% to Rs 136,877.00 million compared with the corresponding quarter a year ago. Shares of the company&nb sp;closed up Rs 54.15, or 6.36%, at Rs 905.00. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 559,519. (Wednesday)

The company announced a steady growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company witnessed a 11.93% rise in profit to Rs 46,105.30 million from Rs 41,189.90 million in the same quarter last year.
