FIIs turn net buyers in equities worth Rs 24,845 mn The purchases of foreign institutional investors (FIIs) have been the highest over the last 54 trading days as on September 19. FIIs turned net buyers in equities worth Rs 24,845 million (USD 608.6 million) on September 19. FIIs bought equity worth Rs 57,700 million and sold equity worth Rs 32,855 million. Till September 19, they have been net buyers in equities to the tune of Rs 67,648 million (USD 1,660 million). FIIs were also net buyers in debt on September 19 to the tune of Rs 323 million (USD 7.9 million). They bought debt worth Rs 323 million but did not sell any debt. Till September 19, they have been net buyers in debt to the tune of Rs 10,028 million (USD 247.3 million). Till September 19, FIIs have thus been net buyers in both equities and debt to the tune of Rs 77,676 million (USD 1,907.3 million). FIIs were net buyers in derivatives worth Rs 42,548.34 million on September 19. They bought derivatives worth Rs 93,040.2 million and sold derivatives worth Rs 50,491.8 million.
