Linc Pen & Plastics declares 12% dividend The members of Linc Pen & Plastics, at its meeting held on Sep. 14, 2007 declared dividend of 12% for the year ended Mar. 31, 2007. The company disclosed a phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the profit rose 2.49 times to Rs 15.21 million from Rs 6.12 million in the corresponding quarter, last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 16.57% to Rs 398.25 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. The company is engaged in ball pens, pencils, refills, plastic powder and ink. Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 0.35, or 0.79%, at Rs 44.6. The total volume of shares traded was 31,975 at the BSE. (2.38 p.m, Thursday)
