Surana Telecom bags Rs 120 mn BSNL order Hyderabad-based telecom products manufacturer Surana Telecom received (Q, N,C,F)* Rs 120 million worth order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam (BSNL) for supply of telecommunication cables. > Su rana Telecom reported phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the profit rose 2.26 times to Rs 28.64 million from Rs 12.68 million, in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 23.40% to Rs 107.15 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Surana Telecom, part of the Surana Group is engaged in manufacturing of telecom related software and cables. Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 1.60, or 4.79%, at Rs 35.
