Asian markets open in negative Asian stocks fell from its eight-week high after Fed Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke voiced concerns over the housing recession situation in the US. Toyota Motor declined 2.1%, Samsung Electronics dropped 2.2%, while Honda Motor fell 3.9%. Japan`s benchmark index Nikkei lost 103.70 points, or 0.63%, to trade at 16,310.09. Hong Kong`s Hang Seng declined 10.94 points, or 0.04%, to trade at 25,690.19. China`s Shanghai Composite slipped 30.34 points, or 0.55%, to trade at 5,439.72. Taiwan`s Taiex Index added 47.76 points, or 0.53%, to trade at 9,030.79. South Korea`s KOSPI lost 1.72 points, or 0.09%, to trade at 1,907.25.
