FIIs buy equities worth Rs 16,295 mn
FIIs buy equities worth Rs 16,295 mn Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) were net buyers in equities to the tune of Rs 16,295 million (USD 399.2 million) on September 20. They bought equity worth Rs 45,750 million and sold equity worth Rs 29,455 million. Till September 20, they have been net buyers in equities to the tune of Rs 83,943 million (USD 2,059.2 million). FIIs were also net buyers in debt on September 20 to the tune of Rs 1,979 million (USD 48.5 million). They bought debt worth Rs 1,979 million and sold no debt. Till September 20, they have been net buyers in debt worth Rs 12,007 million (USD 295.8 million). Till September 20, FIIs have thus been net buyers in both equities and debt to the tune of Rs 95,950 million (USD 2,355 million).
