Godrej plans Rs 3 bn capex Godrej & Boyce has earmarked an investment of Rs 3 billion for this financial year, reports Business Standard. The appliances division is expected to corner Rs 800 million. The company is investing heavily in repositioning its brand in terms of target customers and innovation in products across categories. >It is open to mergers and acquisitions and is looking at a turnover of Rs 45 billion in the current financial year, of which the appliances division is expected to contribute close to Rs 14 billion. Shares of Godrej Industries gained Rs 7.70, or 4.42%, to end a t Rs 181.9. The total volume of shares traded was 139,038 at the BSE (Thursday).
