JMD Telefilms declares 5% dividend The members of JMD Telefilms (Q, N,C,F)* Industries, at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held on Sep. 18, 2007, declared dividend at the rate of 5% a share of Rs 10 each. The company disclosed phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the profit rose 59.57% to Rs 0.75 million from Rs 0.47 million in the corresponding quarter, last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 3.9 times to Rs 187.83 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Shares of the company were last traded on Sep. 20, 2007 at Rs 16.00.
