Market exhibits volatility
Market exhibits volatility The BSE benchmark index Sensex swinging from the positive to the negative and vice-versa, is currently trading on a flat note. Select stocks from auto, telecom, cement, banking and realty traded in positive, while IT and pharma stock led the declines. BSE Sensex is trading at 16,366.99, up 19.04 points, while NSE Nifty is trading at 4,767.65, up 20.1 points (11.28 a.m).
The BSE Midcap rose 1.22%, while BSE Smallcap rose 0.92%.

Out of the total 2,517 shares traded at the BSE, 1,406 advanced, 1,050 declined while 61 remained unchanged.
Amongst the sectoral indices, BSE Auto rose 0.57%, BSE Realty rose 1.69% and BSE Bankex rose 0.44%, while BSE IT declined 1.52%.
Key gainers amongst the Sensex include Bharti Airtel which inched up 3.04% to touch Rs 918.00, followed by Reliance Comm which rose 2.39% at Rs 580.00 and Reliance Energy rose 2.26% at Rs 1,010.00.
Grasim, SBI, ACC, Bajaj Auto, HUL, Maruti and ONGC also moved up.
Laggards at the BSE Sensex included Satyam, which declined 2.21% to Rs 412.00, TCS declined 1.94% at Rs 981.40 and Infosys declined 1.54% at Rs 1,772.00. Hindalco, ITC, Cipla, Wipro, NTPC and Ranbaxy also slipped.
