MFs turn net sellers in equities worth Rs 2,334 mn Mutual funds (MFs) turned net sellers in equities worth Rs 2,334 million on September 20. They bought equity worth Rs 7,401 million and sold equity worth Rs 9,735 million. Till September 20, they have been net sellers in equities worth Rs 340 million. Value of purchases by mutual funds (MFs) has been the highest in debt over the last 80 trading days. Value of net purchases/sales by MFs also has been the highest in debt over the last 9 trading days. Over the last 5 days, MFs have been consistent net buyers in debt. On September 20, they were net buyers in debt worth Rs 11,344 million. They bought debt worth Rs 21,170 million and sold debt worth Rs 9,825 million. Till September 20, they have been net buyers in debt to the tune of Rs 66,486 million.
