RBI absorbs Rs 12 bn via repos

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) absorbed Rs 12 billion via 3-day  repos on Sep. 21, 2007.

 

At the auction conducted under liquidity adjustment facility, the central bank received 1 bid for 3-day repos, which were all accepted. These repos are traded at a fixed rate of 7.75%.


On the previous working day, i.e on September 20, it absorbed Rs 72 billion via 7 bids, for 1-day reverse repos that traded at a fixed rate of 6%.
