RIL gets oil in new KG Basin Mukesh Ambani-controlled Reliance (Q, N,C,F)* Industries (RIL) found oil in D4 (KG-DWN-98/1) block in the Krishna Godavari Basin, reports Business Line. > The company, having concluded the technical testing of the block on September 8, will be reporting it to the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH). RIL in its earlier attempts was unsuccessful in exploiting hydrocarbons. But its third attempt, which started in July, showed good results. The company is said to be studying the exact quantum of the find. Shares of the company closed up Rs 19.20, or 0.88%, at Rs 2,192.10. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 596,522.
