Bal Pharma declares 7.5% dividend The members of Bal Pharma (Q, N,C,F)* at its annual general meeting (AGM) held on Sep. 20, 2007, declared dividend of 7.5%. Net sales for the quarter rose 4.80% to Rs 199.52 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

The company announced sharp drop in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the profit swung to Rs 9.87 million from Rs 11.15 million, in the corresponding quarter last year.
Shares of the company clos ed up Rs 1.30, or 4.01%, at Rs 33.75. The total volume of shares traded were 18,087 at the BSE . (Monday).
