Gail director appointed chairman of Ratnagiri Gas
Gail director appointed chairman of Ratnagiri Gas Gail India (GAIL), announced that R K Goel, Director (Finance) of GAIL (Q, N,C,F)* will be the new chairman of Ratnagiri Gas & Power (RGPPL). Goel will hold additional charge as chairman of RGPPL, a company promoted by >the GAIL and NTPC for reviving and operating power plant and LNG terminal at Dabhol, earlier owned by erstwhile Dabhol Power Company. The decision was taken at the 33 rd meeting of the board of RGPPL held on Sep. 21, 2007. Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 17.75, or 5.07%, to Rs 368.15. T he total volume of shares traded were 230,401 at the BSE.(11.01 am,Monday).
