Geodesic Information grants options under ESOP The board of directors of Geodesic (Q, N,C,F)* Information Systems, at its meeting held on Sep. 24, 2007, approved grant of 300,000 options to the employees of the company under ESOP-2002. Net sales for the quarter rose 69.91% to Rs 566.58 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Shares of the company closed down Rs 8.90, or 4.24%, at Rs 200.90. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 31,735. (Monday)

The company reported a phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company`s profit went up 2.10 times to Rs 304.51 million from Rs 144.98 million in the same quarter last year.
