Gujarat Fertilizers shareholders approve scheme of amalgamation The scheme of arrangement between the Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals and GSFC (Q, N,C,F)* Investment & Leasing was approved by the equity shareholders at the court convened meeting of equity shareholders of the company held on Sep. 21, 2007. > Gujarat State Fertilisers & Chemicals was previously known as Gujarat State Fertilizer Company (GSFC) and was promoted by the government of Gujarat. GSFC and Gujarat government hold 26% and 25% of the share capital respectively in Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Company. The company promoted Gujarat Industries Power Company (GIPCL) and is also the promoter and nodal agency for Gujarat Agri Processing Company (GAPCL). Shares of the company declined Rs 2.75 , or 1.19%, to Rs 227.4. The total volume of shares traded were 25,943 at the BSE.(Mon day ).
