Kalyani Forge declares dividend >The members of Kalyani Forge, (Q, N,C,F)* at the 28th annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held on Sep. 22, 2007, approved the declaration of dividend at the rate of Rs 2.20 a share on equity shares of Rs 10 each. Further the members authorized the board to borrow amounts not exceeding Rs 2 billion.
Kalyani Forge reported a small rise in net profit for the quarter ended in June 2007. During the quarter, the company reported a 5.82% rise in profit to Rs 20.00 million from Rs 18.90 million in the same quarter last year.
Sales for the quarter rose 23.54% to Rs 449.20 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
Shares of the company gained Rs 1.3 , or 0.51%, to settle at Rs 258. The total volume of shares traded was 941 at the BSE.(Monday)
