RBI absorbs Rs 44.95 bn via repos The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) absorbed Rs 44.95 billion via 1-day repos on Sep. 24, 2007. At the auction conducted under liquidity adjustment facility, the central bank received 7 bid for 1-day repos, which was accepted. These repos are traded at a fixed rate of 6%. On the previous working day, i.e on September 22, it absorbed Rs 12 billion via 1 bid, for 3-day repos that traded at a fixed rate of 7.75%.
