Anil Ambani co. to enter city gas
The Anil Ambani led Reliance Fuel Resources Limited is all set to enter the city gas distribution for households and Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for transportation in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Mumbai city.
The group has re-applied for licences to set up city gas distribution (CGD) projects in NCR townships and Mumbai. It has filed three applications with the Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board for licences to sell CNG to automobiles and piped gas to households in Mumbai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ghaziabad and Noida. It has citied KG basin gas fields of Reliance Industries as a source of fuel.
