Celebrity Fashions allots shares under ESOP-2005 The board of directors of Celebrity Fashions allotted 8,600 equity shares of Rs 10 each >at a premium of Rs 20 a share on conversion of stock options issued under employees stock option plan 2005. Consequently, share capital of the company increased from Rs 178,188,210 comprising of 17,818,821 equity shares of Rs 10 each to Rs 178,274,210 comprising of 17,827,421 equity shares of Rs 10 each. The company swung to a loss for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company reported a loss of Rs 58.3 million as compared with a profit of Rs 10.22 million in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 7.95% to Rs 804.90 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago. Shares of the company closed down Rs 2.60, or 3.79%, at Rs 66.05. The total volume of shares traded at the BSE was 20,621. (Tuesday)
