Godawari Power to set up Rs 2.35 bn plant >The board of directors of Godawari Power and Ispat, at its meeting held on Sep. 25, 2007, agreed to set up Rs 2.35 billion iron ore crushing plant with a capacity of 1.2 million tons p.a., beneficiation plant with a capacity of 0.10 million tons p.a., and peliatisation plant with a capacity of 0.60 million tons p.a. Out of the total Rs 2.35 billion, up to Rs 1.5 billion will be financed through term loan or external commercial borrowings from the banks and up to Rs 1 billion will be financed by way of fresh issue of equity capital.
Shares of the company declined Rs 2.35, or 1.05%, to settle at Rs 221. The total volume of shares traded was 14,815 at the BSE.(Tuesday)
