Result Analysis: Rose Zinc net up 4.62% for Jun`07 qtr

Rose Zinc disclosed a weak growth in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company saw a 4.62% rise in profit to Rs 1.81 million from Rs 1.73 million in the same quarter last year.

Net sales for the quarter rose 24.06% to Rs 135.57 million compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.

Operating margins during the quarter improved to 6.75%, a rise of 45.35 basis points compared with the corresponding quarter last year.

Net margins, during the quarter, fell to 1.33% from 1.58%.

At the closing price of Rs 9.93 on Sep. 24, 2007 at the BSE, the company`s shares were valued at 7.04 times earnings on a trailing twelve month basis.
