Millars India changes name to Skyline Millars The members of Millars India (Q, N,C,F)* at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the company held on Sep. 24, 2007, approved the change of name of the company from Millars India to Skyline Millars. > The main intention for the change of name was to reflect that company`s joint promoters Skyline Group consisting of Skyline Vision, Dave Builders and Jatin Daisaria Realtors having been inducted in the company. Millars India (MIL) was incorporated as Acme manufacturing company in the year 1919. It changed it`s name to the present one in 2002. It manufactures diesel engines, mechanical lubricators, engine valves, push rods, steel storage tanks, rolling shutters, bridges, trusses and other general structural fabrication work, structural f abrication, tilting type concrete mixers and non-tilting concrete mixers. The company operates in three segments namely, crane, manufacturing equipment, and real estate development. Shares of the company declined Rs 7, or 4.24%, to Rs 158. The total volume of shares traded was 245 at the BSE. (2.54 p.m, Thursday)
