Rupee remains steady at 39.75/USD The Indian Rupee remain steady against the US Dollar on Sep. 27, 2007. The Reserve Bank of India`s (RBI) reference rate for US Dollar stood at Rs 39.75 on September 27 compared with Rs 39.70 on the previous working day i.e. September 26. On the other hand, the domestic currency depreciated 0.27% versus the Euro on the same day. The reference rate for Euro recorded at Rs 56.24 on September 27, against Rs 56.09 on the previous working day. As revealed in the table below, the local currency weakened 0.30% against the Great Britain Pound (GBP), but appreciated 0.52% against the Japanese Yen (taking into account 100 Yen).
