Dr Reddy`s receives US nod to market Sebclair Dr Reddy`s (DRL) secured an exclusive licence to sell dermatitis drug Sebclair in the US, reports Economic Times. The drug has a USD 5-billion market in the US. >Sebclair is manufactured by UK-based specialty drug maker Sinclair. The license is a marketing tie-up between the two companies. DRL will market Sebclair under a new brand name through its new US subsidiary Dr Reddys Laboratories Inc. Sinclair will receive certain payments from DRL and DRL, in turn, will pay royalty to Sinclair on net sales of the drug in US. The license to DRL is in line with the company`s proposed move to acquire the dermatology dr ug maker Bradley Pharma to strengthen its foot-hold in the US dermatology market. Shares of the company gained Rs 6.40, or 1%, to end at Rs 646.10. The total volume of shares traded was 33,607 at the BSE (Thursday).
