Jindal Steel approves 240% dividend The members of Jindal Steel (Q, N,C,F)* & Power at its 28th annual general meeting (AGM) held on Sep. 28, 2007, approved declaration of final dividend at 240% i.e. Rs 12 a share of Rs 5 each, with requisite majority. > Jindal Steel & Power (JINSTEPO) has business interests in steel production, power generation, mining iron ore, coal and diamond exploration/mining. The company has set-up a rail and universal beam mill producing the world`s longest 120-meter long finished rails for the first time in India. The company was established in 1990 by hiving off the Raigarh and Raipur divisions of Jindal Strips. It is a part of the Rs 180,000+ million Jindal organization. Shares of the company gained Rs 85.85 , or 1.68%, to Rs 5185.05. The total volume of shares traded were 6,774 at the BSE.(1.10 pm ,Friday ).
