Nectar Lifesciences declares 20% dividend The members of Nectar Lifesciences, at its meeting held on Sep. 28, 2007 declared dividend of 20% or Rs 2 a share. >The company appointed Basant Kumar Goswami and Raman Goyal as directors of the company. Nectar Lifesciences manufactures sterile SSP and cephalosporin. It has 300 customers including Ranbaxy, Cipla, Alembic and Alkem. Nectar Lifesciences, announced phenomenal jump in net profit for the quarter ended June 2007. During the quarter, the company saw 88.09% rise in profit to Rs 171.07 million from Rs 90.95 million, in the corresponding quarter last year. Net sales for the quarter rose 2.18 to Rs 1773.85 million, compared with the corresponding quarter, a year ago.
Shares of the company were last trading up Rs 1.65 , or 0.68%, at Rs 244. The total volume of shares traded were 16,469 at the BSE.(3.53 pm ,Friday ).
