OCL India shareholders approve scheme of arrangement

The shareholders and the secured creditors of OCL India approved the scheme of arrangement  at its meeting held on Sep.22, 2007.

The unsecured creditors also approved scheme of arrangement at its meeting held on Sep. 23, 2007.

 

OCL India (previously Orissa Cements), (Q, N,C,F)* a part of the J D Dalmia Group, was incorporated in 1949. The company`s principal activity comprises cement, refractories, soda ash and ammonium chloride.

 

Shares of the company gained Rs 1.05 , or 0.66%, to Rs 160.4. The total volume of shares t raded were 10,246 at the BSE.(Friday ).
