Rohit Ferro Tech Ltd has informed that the members at the 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 28, 2007 inter alia, have passed the following businesses:
The Company has chalked out a plan to setup a Captive Power Plant in the state of Orissa to meet its own power requirement. The Company has received an in-principal approval from the (Promotion and Investment Corporation of Orissa Ltd) IPICOL’s State Level Single Window Clearance Authority for the 110 MW Captive Power Plant and an expansion of Ferro alloys capacity to be setup in Orissa with the assurance of Coal Linkage. The Company is seeking the mining rights for its raw materials from the government.
