Rupee remains steady at 39.74/USD The Indian Rupee remain steady against the US Dollar on Sep. 28, 2007. The Reserve Bank of India`s (RBI) reference rate for US Dollar stood at Rs 39.74 on September 28 compared with Rs 39.75 on the previous working day i.e. September 27. Similarly, the domestic currency remained steady versus the Euro on the same day. The reference rate for Euro recorded at Rs 56.30 on September 28, against Rs 56.24 on the previous working day. As revealed in the table below, the local currency also remained steady against the Great Britain Pound (GBP), but depreciated 0.29% against the Japanese Yen (taking into account 100 Yen).
