United Breweries board approves rights issue The board of directors (BoD) of United Breweries (Q, N,C,F)* at its meeting held on Sep. 28, 2007, approved to raise funds not exceeding Rs 4,250 million by way of issue of equity shares to the existing equity shareholders of the company on `Rights` basis. >
The board authorized the committee to do all acts, deeds, matters and things that are required to be done in connection with the proposed `Rights` issue subject to such statutory / other approvals as may be required in this regard.
Shares of the company gained Rs 0.05 , or 0.01%, to Rs 379.85. The total volume of shares traded were 30,818 at the BSE.(1.05 pm ,Friday).
